The Magma were the home squad and sent veteran TNB legend Catnip to the bump. However, second year phenom Q worked a free pass and Cap, Pete, Stuman and Buck followed with safeties for a quick 3 run lead.
The Magmas erupted for a run of their own behind hits from Cat and Nails. The Pummice fans were delighted by a BIG strikeout of SuperJ by Buck as they littered the field with Super J Candy bars .After 6 the Pummice was clinging on tp a slim 5-4 lead. Kap, Pete and Stuman continued to slug away.
The Magmas pushed across a run in the bottom of the 7th but left the bases loaded on a force at home to end the exciting TNB game. Maddog got the save
