Whately Pioneers 16, Hartford Senators 11

The weather today is classic April; sunny, then overcast, warmish then chilly. The field was very dry, and we had no access to water, so we prepped the field early, while there was still condensation in the infield dirt. But we have the field in good shape and we are all ready to go.

In the next 3 innings the Senators and Pioneers traded 2 tallies each, after 7 Pioneers 13, Senators 9 The Senators struck for 2 quick runs in the 8th on a P-Nut single, a Grit bomb and a Bull single to tighten the game at 13-11 into the bottom of the 8th.
